It's Denise's birthday, and we had a lot of fun and had some really good food.

Denise got some dishes and a pitcher she was wanting....



I grilled the chicken...



Sarah put the fruit platter together....



Rachel set the table with Denise's new dishes...



and Denise LOVED the dessert! :)

Rachel and I went up to South Haven to have dinner with Roger and Denise, after which, we went to the beach and watched the sunset. It was quite beautiful.

We had baked oatmeal, which tastes really good with ice cream, blueberries, and rasberries on top. yumm!!!!

Mary Beth told me about some baby Purple Finches that were in a nest on the front porch. I grabbed my camera and went to take a look....



My response - "Ugly little critters....."
Rachel's response - "Aw, baby chicks - they're so cute!!!!"

Sonny has gotten into a bad habit lately of curling up on top of the bed - this has been the one area that is off-limits to him, but honestly, how can you say no to that dog?
