I've been wanting to upgrade my phone, so I found a T-Mobile G1 (HTC Dream) on eBay, won the bid, unlocked it, rooted it, installed a custom ROM, and am now running Android 2.1 on it! Woot!

We were driving through a small town in Michigan and came upon an interesting intersection. Rachel blurted out, "Whoa, whoa! Double stop sign! All the way!!!! What does it mean!!!?!?!?!?!" We had a really good laugh over it. :D

I was up very early this morning taking Rachel's parents to the airport. It was so clear and the stars shining so brightly that I decided to set up my tripod and take a few pictures.



I think 'nighttime photography' is something I may need to delve further into..... :)

We were surprised to find a snake on the wall outside one of the doors at the office. He was on a tiny ledge about six feet off the ground. I don't know how he got up there, but he seemed to like it.

One of the fringe benefits of house-sitting for Rachel's family while they're gone is being able to harvest from their raspberry bushes. :)

I found a frog in the window ledge next to the office door. The ledge is a good five feet off the ground. I'm left wondering, "How in the world did it get up there?"



(Pardon the fuzziness. I didn't realize my lens had fogged up, and when I went back later, the frog was gone)
